Dr. Fan Ran

Profile

Dr. Fan Ran is currently a lecture at Institute of Service Engineering, Hangzhou Normal University. He gained his B.Eng. (2007) in Mechatronics Engineering from Zhejiang University and Ph.D. (2014) in Computer Science from the Zhejiang University. Since 2007, he has been engaged in the research and application of 3D measurement, geometric processing and dental digitization. During the period of 2009-2013, he participated in the algorithm development of Hangzhou Xianlin 3D Technology Co., Ltd. as a core R & D staff. He is the leader of National Natural Science Fund Project, Methods to Improve the Geometric Precision and Resolution of 3D Structured Light Measurements. He has published more than ten papers in IEEE and other domestic and foreign journals and has 8 invention patents.
